                                                     Interior Shots

  • In this wide mid-shot it is apparent that my nail disturbs the image, thus i have cropped it out, this has also created the illusion of a taller ceiling. The shot captures the distortion of the reflection and the parallel walls and doors create alignment. The subject is looking in the direction of the camera lens but not directly at it and moving off-center, this accentuates the length of the corridor. The horizontal shot is of unbalanced exposure, i added a sharpening filter to accentuate it's fine details. I like how the light is reflected off the polished door because it adds to the clear plastic reflection. I have also layered a vibrant filter to enhance the colours.

  • I took this shot to create a conspicuous symmetrical image. I tried to combine and experiment with natural and artificial lighting.
  • This is a low-angle long shot to reinforce the school surroundings, create a sense of detachment and establish the silhouette as enigmatic. I tried to show a contrast between the darkness and light by adjusting the settings and the IPSO to 800 to achieve this.
  • Editing has allowed me to achieve the chiaroscuro lighting effect. In the photo  i used the eye dropper toll to extract the natural white lighting and painted its colour all around the window, to achieve an ominous effect. I also added a HDR2 effect from Picsart to reinforce the contrast and make the silhouette stand out more, with it, i saturated, blurred and sharpened the image to avoid the unprofessional blurry look. During editing i actually cropped the image to be more vertical, to accentuate the silhouette of the subject.
  • The difficulties i have experienced is a lens glare, this is not as visible yet i used the effect to try erase it.

  •  In this mid shot I struggled to keep the reflection in focus due to the opaque background. I cropped the image below to create a more symmetrical effect. I used the HDR1 effect in Picsart to make the reflection and textures of the costume and setting standout. I would close the window to get more symmetry in the image and focus the camera on the reflection more if I would be able to do this again. The image is slightly blurred and highly saturated.
